A section of the residents condemned the act, describing it as disrespectful and an affront to the presidency. “Regardless of our political affiliations, we must respect our leaders and national symbols,” one resident remarked.
Others, however, viewed the incident as a reflection of dissatisfaction with the government. “This act might be a way for people to express their frustrations about the current state of affairs in the country,” another resident speculated.
Meanwhile, authorities are investigating the matter to identify the perpetrator.
