How ‘no-nonsense’ candidate Akufo-Addo became a very weak President shocks me ~ Abronye DC

The Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) NPP, Kwame Baffoe Abronye alias Abronye DC, can be seen complaining in a viral video about how President Akufo-Addo has lost his strength and isn’t living up to expectations, in contrast to his reputation as a strong man.

Abronye, who just earned an MSc in Energy Economics from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), is well known for saying that President Akufo-Addo is no longer the same person she once was.

“Those who say this is not the man they know are right. What is happening? As for me, I agree with what the people are saying. This is not the Akufo-Addo we know. No. It is not him.” He said in a Wontumi TV appearance that is going viral.

It’s unclear whether the appearance in the video is recent or old.

The Regional Chairman expressed his shock at the President’s most recent public portrayal as a soft man.

He is so recommending the President to return to his previous “no-nonsense” strategy in order to deal with obstinate government officials who are making the government unpopular.

NPP delegates in the Bono Region decided to keep Abronye in that position in May of this year. Some claim that his popularity on radio and television is a result of the claims he makes.

Mr. Baffoe had 173 votes out of the total valid votes cast to beat Konlaabig Rasheed who was the incumbent Regional Organiser.

Abronye earlier reportedly fell out of favour with President Akufo-Addo after he was reportedly sacked from the convoy of the President.
