A longtime friend of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is unhappy about his attitude towards calls placed to him on his mobile phone bothering serious national issues.
According to Lawyer John Ndebugri, getting the opportunity as an old friend to advise him on issues that border on national development has become extremely difficult since he became President.
The former Zebilla lawmaker reveals that anytime he calls him, only women answer the calls and respond that the President is unavailable to speak with him.
Mr. Ndebugri finds this offensive and vows not to call him again because he does not know whether Akufo-Addo still considers him as a friend a former one.
He, however, noted that it is surprising that calls he places to former President John Mahama and Agyekum Kufuor are answered directly by them but the situation is different with Akufo-Addo.
Mr Ndebugri who was speaking in an inter on A1 Radio monitored by MyNewsGh.com said “. I will say he is my former friend because I haven’t met him for several years now so I don’t know whether he even considers me as his friend. I take the phone and I call President Kufuor, he answers but not this man (Akufo-Addo). His phone is with some ladies who will not even treat you with some respect. If you call President Kufuor, it goes to him directly, if you call Mahama it goes to him directly but not this man. If you call him, some ladies will pick up and tell you he isn’t around. And I don’t call people who don’t pick my calls promptly”.
